Sweet Home Pet Care will be partially closed on August 17th, we will still be offering full services, but there will be no drop offs or pick ups of boarded pets on this day. No visitors.

Sweet Home Pet Care will be closed from August 29th to September 3rd, and unavailable for bookings or services for those days.
Labor Day Weekend
This weekend will have extremely limited spots due to the holiday. Dog boarding spaces will be limited to returning clients only!

Thanksgiving Week
Fall break is a busy time as students need sitters for the week the University of Alabama is closed. Please book with us in advance to guarantee a boarding spot.
2 Weeks of Winter Pets!
As University of Alabama closes for winter, students go home to family and everyone leaves for other states. This two week period is often busy due to homes being needed for pets, or check ins needing to be done as families travel.
Dog boarding spaces will be limited to returning clients only!

Fourth of July Weekend
We don’t have fireworks at Sweet Home, so plan to board your pet for the day if you’re going to enjoy the festivities.
Reminder: Fireworks will often begin days before New Year's, and will often continue days after.
Keep pets indoors, walk dogs before dark, and use calming music to help pets cope with the loud noises and flashes that cause anxiety, shaking, and potential escape.
Business Closed: May 30th - June 6th
The owners of Sweet Home Pet Care will be attending an educational conference from May 30th through June 6th. During this time, we will not be accepting any new bookings.
We appreciate your understanding and support while we take this opportunity to continue learning and growing so we can provide the best possible care for your pets.

Busiest Time of the Year: Spring Break
Spring Break is our busiest time of year due to students needing someone to care for their pets while they return home or go on vacation.
Dog boarding spaces will be limited to returning clients only! We will not be accepting new clients during this period. Drop ins and Walks are always able to be accommodated!
