Who we are…
Hello! We are Jennifer and Irvin, the owners and operators of Sweet Home. We both have careers in emergency services, so our days never stop. We’re animal enthusiasts who love all types of pets at heart.
Before we began pet sitting, we had been fostering with the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter since 2008! Our specialty is raising and socializing neonatal and feral kittens to prepare for adoption.
I, Jennifer, began professionally pet sitting thanks to a friend. My business grew so well that Irvin saw my progress and decided to join in the adventure!
We update our Facebook and Instagram pages regularly with pictures and stories of pets we've cared for, so you can be assured we stay busy! Your pet could be in our next post!

Rose, our Red Pembroke Welsh Corgi is the ruler of the house. Very much a ‘people pup’
Louie, our Red Headed Tri Pembroke Welsh Corgi, is our submissive baby of the house. He gets away with everything
From left to right:
Cow, the oldest of the crew. He’s shy around new people, and keeps the cats in line. He also has a catnip addiction that we’re supporting him through.
Crumb, she loves all new cats and dogs who come in. She also loves to wrestle with dogs that are her size.
Dum Dum, He loves to greet everyone new at the door, and is in charge of inspecting every box that comes in.
